Send in Your Love Gift
…God loves it when the giver delights in the giving.
When we give offerings or sow seeds we are giving beyond the tithes, usually in response to a prompting, a felt need towards someone or a particular project, but beyond that should be a lifestyle of generosity. As we cultivate the heart of generosity, we find the heart of God at work in us when we respond. Concerning generosity the bible says “When we grasp our finances tightly, we usually find ourselves under the strain of financial pressure. Yet some through generosity there are greater gains through greater giving.
The Apostle Paul through the Holy Spirit used the agricultural analogy of sowing seeds and harvests to describe the generous life. He said Remember this: Who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously 2 Cor9:8 Your decision to be generous is your decision to live in abundance.
Living generously goes beyond the quantity of your giving it’s also about the attitude with which you give its open heartedness, open mindedness and open handedness towards God’s kingdom and people around you whenever the need arises.
Through a heart of generosity, we begin a cycle of seedtime and harvest that enables us to be used in seeing Gods work through as we steward the money we control.
